On Wednesday it was announced that Falcons’ corner A.J. Terrell would be returning to practice from injured reserve after missing several games with a groin issue. The team’s corner group as been struggling a lot, so this will be a welcomed return if he suits up Sunday. Not practicing on Wednesday was linebacker Divine Deablo who has a forearm issue, and corner Billy Bowman who is dealing with an injured hamstring. It’s only Wednesday though so I wouldn’t panic just yet.
The team also got some great news when Kendal Daniels practiced fully after his scary injury on Sunday. It looks like he’s on track to play, which is a big relief.
The 49ers have arguably one of the longest injury reports I’ve seen this season. Although they are notoriously a banged up team, so it’s not too surprising. As the Falcons get Terrell back, the 49ers are likely getting receiver Christian Kirk back from injured reserve. Kirk has had a calf issue but was able to practice fully on Wednesday. They do have several key players missing practice currently, but again, it’s only Wednesday so we will keep an eye out to see how things change following Thursday’s practice.
