Barcelona new signing Marcus Rashford has hailed Hansi Flick after joining the club on loan from Manchester United.
The German coach has recruited Rashford to boost his attack his season, and Rashford is enjoying working under his new manager in Catalunya.
“He’s very communicative and direct, which is especially important with a lot of young players.” he told El Periodico.
“The direction has to be clear. His motivation is high to do better than last season, which is why I think the team will be successful.
He’s a special coach who knows how to work with special players.”
Rashford also spoke about new team-mate Lamine Yamal and is confident the teenager will go on to be crowned the best player in the world.
“As a person, Lamine is an 18-year-old kid, always fun, laughing, joking with others. And as a footballer, he’s a top talent,” he added.
“The most surprising thing is how mature he is for his age. The way he thinks and plays. He’s way beyond his years. Yes, for sure. If he doesn’t win it this year, he’ll win it in the future. He can definitely win the Ballon d’Or.”
Barcelona and Rashford are back in action on Saturday in La Liga against Levante.
