After the Green Bay Packers choked away the game against the Chicago Bears on Saturday, Bears receiver DJ Moore, who caught the game-winning touchdown, was given a game ball by head coach Ben Johnson. In the video that the team took of the game ball ceremony in the locker room, Moore was seen dancing around in a foam cheese grater hat, an obvious jab at Packers fans wearing their iconic cheeseheads.
But these hats are getting some burn outside of the locker room, too. On Sunday, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams was handing out meals and was seen wearing the exact same hat.
This isn’t the first time, nor will it be the last, that you’ve seen the cheese graters. But the popularity of these hats seems to have risen over the years, and it won’t slow down with NFC North players donning them after victories over the Packers.
God bless the Green Bay fans living in Chicagoland. This week is going to be beyond annoying for you. Buckle up.
