The Cincinnati Bengals are back in action hosting the AFC-best New England Patriots inside Paycor Stadium.
The Bengals’ defense has been competitive, including a pick-six by Geno Stone to start the second quarter.
Zac Taylor and his squad find themselves down 17-13 at the half, but go into the locker room with some momentum after Evan McPherson’s record-breaking field goal.
Joe Flacco and the Bengals offense had about 30 seconds before half with Chase Brown and Tee Higgins leading the way with two massive
chunk plays to get the ball around midfield.
McPherson lined up a 63-yard field goal attempt and drilled it, breaking the franchise record (59 yards) held previously by himself.
Despite a lot of issues for this team in 2025, one storyline that has not been discussed much is the return of Money Mac.
McPherson has struggled the past few years, but it seems this field goal unit has really found its groove this season.
Congrats to Money Mac on continuing to make history as a Cincinnati Bengal.
Oh, and that is why you draft a kicker. IYKYK!
