Regular season baseball may be over, but postseason baseball is here.
Today, we’ve got the first action of the playoffs, with four Wild Card games gracing our televisions and streaming services. The two evening games—Yankees v Red Sox and Cubs v Padres—should be very good contests, as the average win total among all four teams is 90. This is in stark contrast to the 4pm American League game, which features the 84-win White Sox and the 81-win Astros. Could have been the Royals if they were competent
this year, but alas.
At the time this article will publish, we only have lineups for the 1pm game. As the day goes on, I’ll update this with official rosters and then lineups as they become available.
