The IronPigs win a thriller, scoring 5 runs in the top of the 9th to take a 1-run lead. This was encouraging after their 19-0 trouncing from the Red Sox the night before. The offense picked up solo homeruns from Otto Kemp (13) and Gabriel Rincones Jr. (1). Kemp also picked up his 9th stolen base. LHV pitchers held a rehabbing Adley Rustchman 0-3 at the plate with a strikeout.
Reading 6, Richmond 5
Another late-game thriller from the Phillies org. Reading, down 5-0 entering
the top of the 7th, scored a run 1 run in the inning, 4 in the 8th, and the go-ahead run in the 9th. Starter Reese Dutton gave up all five runs, while relievers Jack Dallas, Wen Hui Pan, and Estibenzon Jimenez combined for 4 innings of shutout relief. Journeyman OF Pedro Leon hit his 12th HR of the season with Reading along with 2 other hits.
Frederick 15, Jersey Shore 8
Each of the six pitchers the BlueClaws used in the game gave up runs, with Titan Kennedy-Hayes giving up the most with 6 (2 earned). This unfortunately wasted a great offensive performance which included 3B Tyler Pettorini’s 3rd HR of the season.
Tampa 10, Clearwater 5
Zuher Yousuf and Peyton Havard combined to give up all 10 runs in their 3.2 innings of work. 2026 6th round pick catcher Macon Winslow hit his first professional HR, a three-run shot in the 6th inning. Will Gasparino with a multi-hit game, his second in 5 career professional games so far. 2026 2nd round pick Caden Pogenpohl has hit safely in all 6 professional games he’s played in (.350/.435/.550, 1 HR).
