Both players will be looking to prove why they deserve a spot on the roster, with Deshaun Watson confirmed as the starter and Shedeur Sanders serving as his backup. Both players will need to show they can play consistently and make sound decisions within the offense to earn a spot on the team.
With Alex Wright out for the season with an Achilles injury, the depth on the Browns defensive line will have an opportunity to step up and show why they deserve to be a part of the team’s defensive game plan this season. If someone can make some big plays and find some moments to shine, they may move up in the ranks on this side of the ball.
