To continue the 2026 season, the Miami Hurricanes head back on the road for another ACC game, and their final (Thank God) weeknight game of the regular season. This week, the Canes head north to Winston-Salem, NC to face off against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
For Miami, they look to continue the season with a win and keep their championship aspirations alive. On the flip side, Wake Forest will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season, and pull one of the upsets of the year against the heavily-favored
Hurricanes.

Every game for Miami is a big game, and this is another spotlight, weeknight game for the Canes. Everybody who loves Miami, and many who HATE Miami, will be tuned in, watching and dissecting every play. The firm expectation here as 3 touchdown road favorites is a decisive Miami victory. I see no reason to deviate from that outlook.
Wake Forest is probably the best team Miami has faced this year. QB Gio Lopez looks to be rejuvenated now that he’s away from the dumpster fire that is Bill Belicheck’s North Carolina. OH! And former Miami OC/QB coach Dan Enos is calling the shots for Wake Forest, so that’s fun. There are several other solid players on the Wake Forest roster, but to quote my good friends Gaby Urrutia: “I like Miami here.”
