Kori Edmondson, one of Maryland women’s lacrosse’s most decorated players, will represent Team USA at the 2026 World Championships. The former Terps midfielder is in the midst of a standout rookie campaign with the New York Charging.
Edmondson amassed 187 goals, 173 draw controls and 33 assists during her career in College
Park, helping lead Maryland back to the NCAA Tournament semifinals. She is one of three players in program history to earn four All-Big Ten selections.
After going fourth overall in the inaugural WLL Draft, Edmondson has quickly made her impact felt at the professional level. She has scored four goals in her first three games, including a brace in her debut.
Edmondson has been selected to multiple U.S. national team rosters, most recently helping the U.S. win the 2025 Pan-American Championships.
While she is the lone former Terp on the 22-player roster, Edmondson will be coached by a familiar figure within the program. Acacia Walker-Weinstein, a four-year Maryland player, was named head coach of the U.S. Women’s Senior National Team back in 2024.
