Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has played down talk that he is set to stay at the club past the end of the current campaign.
Club president Joan Laporta has said that he would like Lewandowski to continue for another year, leading to speculation that the 37-year-old is set to agree a new deal.
The striker was asked about his future at a press conference on international duty with Poland and insists he still hasn’t made a decision on where he will play his football next season.
“As far as my future
is concerned, nothing has changed. I’m taking my time to decide what’s best for me. No decisions have been made on my part yet,” he said.
It’s been claimed that Lewandowski will have to accept a hefty pay cut and a supersub role if he is to earn a contract extension.
The Lewandowskis are thought to be happy and settled in Barcelona, but the No. 9 is reported to have offers from around the globe for next season.
