Konrad Laimer has a clear message for Vincent Kompany as the Bayern Munich head coach continues his recovery at home—take all the time you need.
Kompany was recently discharged from the hospital and is now recovering at home with his family. While Bayern Munich continue preparing for their upcoming fixtures under Aaron Danks, the priority remains making sure their head coach has fully recovered before returning to the touchline.
Laimer made it clear that nobody at the club wants Kompany to rush his
return.
“We’re all delighted that he’s finally back home with his family. He can take some time to rest and recover, and it’s obviously much nicer to be at home in your own surroundings. As I said before, we just wish him all the best and hope he takes the time he needs to get back to 100% fitness,” Laimer said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “I think that’s the most important thing in general. Situations like this also remind you that there are much more important things in life than football. I hope he can recover quickly, take all the time he needs, and then we’ll all be happy when we have him back with us here.”
The message from the Bayern Munich dressing room is clear — Kompany has the full support of his players.
