What is the story about?

Wardlow returned to AEW on Dynamite a couple weeks ago, where the Don Callis Family lost a 10-man tag team match against the Death Riders and Bryan Danielson. It was Wardlow’s first match since March 2024. Mr. Mayhem was back in action tonight (Oct. 14) on Dynamite, where the Callis Family beat the Death Riders in a trios match. Mark Davis knocked AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley for a loop and got the pin after a piledriver. This was done in service of their title match this Saturday night at the WrestleDream

pay-per-view.

Wardlow wasn’t directly involved in the fall of these team matches, but this is technically his first victory since winning an All Star 8-man Scramble at Revolution 2024.

Shortly before Dynamite went on the air, this hype video for Wardlow was also posted on social media, where he provided fans with the very unnecessary reminder that the word “War” is in his name.

Do you look forward to seeing what a rage-induced Wardlow will do in AEW going forward, or are you more interested in Davis and several other stars in Don’s family in 2026? Let me know your thoughts on Wardlow and all things Callis Family in the comments below, Cagesiders.
