Assuming the Kawhi Leonard trade officially clears whatever hurdles remain, the Raptors project to be one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. Last year, they pushed the Cleveland Cavaliers to a thrilling Game 7 before ultimately bowing out in the first
round. That same Cavaliers squad made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the eventual champion New York Knicks.
Toronto replaces Brandon Ingram – who was unfortunately a non-factor during the Cleveland series – with one of the best players in the NBA. But will that be enough to counter all the moves made by Eastern Conference rivals?
