Seattle Reign trades Maddie Prohaska to Racing Louisville
Racing Louisville have acquired Maddie Prohaska from Seattle Reign for $50,000 ($25,000 in allocation money & $25,000 in intraleague transfer funds) with performance incentives that could raise the tota
amount.
“I grew up driving past Lynn Family Stadium on the way to soccer tournaments from Ohio. So this is a full circle moment for me, getting the opportunity to call this field home and play in front of this amazing fan base,” Prohaska said. “I can’t wait to get started and continue the history-making of last season!”

Angel City FC have signed California native and goalkeeper Faith Nguyen of Texas Tech to a six-month contract ahead of the 2026 NWSL season.
“Angel City has always been a dream of mine, especially being from Southern California and playing for UCLA,” said Nguyen. “The club represents purpose, community, and using the game to make a real difference, which I absolutely love. It’s amazing to know not just the soccer aspect of putting on that jersey, but what wearing that crest represents. I’m so excited by the opportunity to absolutely compete at the highest level and contribute to a team whose ceiling is still being discovered in more ways than one. LA has a special place in my heart!”
“We are excited to welcome Faith to Angel City,” said ACFC Sporting Director Mark Parsons. “When Faith trained with us last summer, she impressed our staff. She is hungry, a great teammate, and will bring a strong work ethic to our goalkeeper union. Nguyen attended Mater Dei High School and is a Costa Mesa-native.
Freeman to the Wave
San Diego Wave FC has signed goalkeeper Leah Freeman to a one-year contract through the 2026 season.
“We are excited to welcome Leah to the Wave and add her to the goalkeeping group as we continue to build depth and support for the 2026 season,” said Sporting Director and General Manager Camille Ashton.
Freeman has also spent time with the USWNT’s U-23 team.
The Bay Area native previously played for Bay FC, and now remains in California with San Diego.
Ohio State Shutouts Leader to NC Courage
The North Carolina Courage today have signed of goalkeeper Molly Pritchard to a two-year contract through the 2027 NWSL season.
“Playing in the NWSL is a dream come true, and I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Courage. I look forward to learning from such outstanding players and coaches, both on and off the field. I am eager to be pushed in every way possible. Go, Courage!” said Pritchard.
“We’re delighted to add Molly Pritchard to our goalkeeper group. She was among the very best at the collegiate level thanks to both tremendous talent and hard work. Her mindset, desire to learn, and technical qualities make her an ideal fit with our club, and we are excited to help her transition to the professional game,” said Courage Chief Soccer Officer Ceri Bowley.
She anchored a Ohio State Buckeyes defense that set a new program record for consecutive shutouts. Pritchard also has the school record with 32 shutouts and finished second in program history for career saves with 306.
