Malik Washington has led Maryland football back to Associated Press poll attention just four games into his college career.
The Terps received six votes in the Week 4 AP poll, good for an unofficial No.
33. Four voters slotted Maryland in at No. 25 and one put it as No. 24.
The votes come on the heels of Maryland’s 27-10 demolition of Wisconsin Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in its Big Ten opener and first road game of the season.
Maryland should expect to receive votes for at least one more week, with its bye week lined up for Week 5. The Terps will return home Oct. 4 to take on Washington in hopes of staying undefeated and garnering a larger output in the poll.
