It’s the final day of the regular season and I have to say, I am very much looking forward to it. Not that I’ll be happy that it’s over, but more like, I’m excited for the playoffs to start.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- Jhoan Duran is a great addition for the Phillies. He’s helped them immensely. But has he earned the spectacle entrance he has? ($)
- Aaron Nola had a vintage Aaron Nola performance on Friday night. What does that mean for the team’s postseason pitching plans ($)?
MLB news:
- The value of a .300 hitter has gone backwards in recent years. It’s still an aesthetically pleasing number to the baseball fan though.
- The Cubs have lost their top rookie pitcher for, at the very least, the first round of the playoffs, a tough loss for them.
- We know that all teams want to win the World Series (mostly). However, in one opinion, these teams need to make it happen now.
