Pedri’s brilliant goal for Barcelona in their 3-2 win over Levante has won La Liga’s Goal for the Month for August.
Barcelona were 2-0 down when Pedri received the ball on the edge of the box, took a couple of touches and then simply arrowed the ball into the top corner.
All of which is a great excuse to watch a brilliant goal from an amazing player once again.
The goal sparked a comeback from Barcelona
as they went on to win the game 3-2 and take home all three points.
Pedri beat off competition from Nicolas Pepe and Julian Alvarez to win Goal of the Month. Pepe was nominated for his goal against Celta, while Alvarez scored a lovely free-kick for Atletico Madrid.
The international break has seen Pedri in the goals once more. He bagged a brace in Spain’s brilliant win over Turkey and will now return to La Liga action on Sunday for Barcelona against Valencia.
