After a record-breaking season last year, inquiries for Bayern Munich tickets have increased even more this season. Bayern is known for selling out every home match, but their demand for away tickets this season is so high that Bayern could theoretically fill the stadiums in every away fixture as well.
Bayern CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen, made these remarks about the ticket requests: “The enormous interest in our matches is overwhelming and by no means something we can take for granted. We would like
to sincerely thank all of our fans for this. It once again demonstrates the tremendous appeal of FC Bayern. The fact that we receive significantly more ticket requests than there are seats available for every match, both home and away, is an impressive testament to the bond between our fans and the club. We know that we cannot fulfill every request, but we are doing everything we can to continue providing our members and fan clubs with special experiences at the stadium.”
Ticket requests can still be made for some matches, though at this point it is not a guarantee to get tickets. With over 400,000 members, numerous fan clubs around the world, and fans that are just as passionate but do not belong to either, Bayern’s problem is a good one to have — passionate fans that want to support their club in person every match.
