The Deacs have had a whole 16 days off since their last game to rest and prepare for today’s matchup against #16 Georgia Tech. Hopefully that means we will see some new wrinkles in the Wake Forest offense, which has been stagnant for much of the season. With the weather forecast calling for quite a bit of run, the team that runs the ball more effectively without turning it over is probably going to have the upper hand in this one—unfortunately, that plays right into the Yellow Jackets’ game plan. Wake is probably going to need some big plays on defense or special teams to pull off the upset today.
