The Cleveland Browns are currently sitting atop the AFC North with a 3-1 record. It is an unexpected start for many Browns fans, especially after the struggles against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week One. It was a very dramatic Thursday Night Football game in which Cleveland drove the ball down the field in the final minutes to put itself in a good position to kick a field goal for the win. This win makes it the first time the Browns have led in the AFC North since 2021.
The Cleveland defense has
continued to prove they are a strong unit. This group recorded two interceptions and five sacks in the matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They made crucial stops and continued to pressure the opposing offense.
The Browns offense has been the biggest surprise of the season thus far. While not perfect, the group has multiple young players who are starting to stand out and show their value. In the matchup against the Steelers in particular, they put 21 points on the board in the second quarter alone, along with putting together the game-winning drive. Rookie Denzel Boston had 89 receiving yards and really stood out.
