Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Vikings fans and fans across the country.
Well, it’s time for another SB Nation Reacts survey about our Minnesota Vikings, and this one. . .yet again. . .focuses on our team’s quarterback situation.
Going into training camp, the question was whether or not Kyler Murray or J.J. McCarthy would emerge as the team’s starting quarterback. That debate. . .such as it was. . .ended in rather
short order, with Murray being named as the starter ahead of the first preseason game against the New York Giants.
Now, the chatter seems to be swirling that McCarthy might not even be the #2 quarterback on the depth chart, which seems insane to think about, but hey. . .Vikings.
So, we want to know where you think McCarthy is going to land when things are all said and done and the 53-man roster is set on Sunday at 5:00 PM Central. Is he going to be the primary backup? Is he going to be QB3? Do you think the Vikings are going to trade him somewhere? Or could they do the truly unthinkable and just outright cut him?
You can let us know what you think by voting in our poll, whether you cast your vote below or over in the Feed, and by sounding off in the comments section.
Have at it, everybody! We’ll have the results of this one for you before the roster cutdown deadline and see how accurate everyone’s thoughts are.
