FC Bayern loanees were in action this week as their seasons are winding down. Nübel had a chance to prevent his parent team from clinching the league, Sieb and Mainz took a 2-0 lead to France in the Conference League, while Palhinha had a chance to help Spurs get out of the relegation zone. FC Bayern Munich

Germany – Bundesliga
There are three players from the first team on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimović, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel got the start against his parent club and played opposite of his direct competition to be Neuer’s replacement. He made just one save before Bayern put three shots in a row on goal — and into the back of the net — in six minutes. He made his next save in the 52nd minute, but unfortunately for him, he put it onto the foot of Harry Kane, who scored Bayern’s fourth. On the day, Nübel recorded four saves but allowed the four goals. Stuttgart scored two and fell 4-2 in Munich.
Stuttgart will continue their DFB-Pokal title defense in a semi-final match at home against Freiburg on Thursday. They will also host a league match on Sunday against Werder Bremen.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim on the road against Freiburg. He had one shot attempt — missed just over the bar — and created three chances for his teammates to shoot. He also helped back on defense with a clearance and five recoveries. He was subbed off in the 72nd minute with the score level at 1-1. Freiburg scored in the 83rd minute to drop Heidenheim by a score of 2-1.
Heidenheim will host St Pauli on Saturday.
Armindo Sieb – 1. FSV Mainz 05
Sieb was on the bench for Mainz as they made the short international trip to France to face Stasbourg in the second leg of the Conference League quarterfinals. The 2-0 advantage that they earned in the first leg was wiped out by halftime and the score was 3-0 by the time that Sieb entered the match in the 72nd minute. Moments after he entered, the hosts scored another to go up two goal on the aggregate. Sieb created one chance for his teammates to shoot but could not get a shot attempt of his own. Mainz could not find a goal and fell 4-0 on the day, 4-2 on aggregate and crashed out of the competition.
On Sunday, Mainz was away to Mönchengladbach and Sieb was on the bench again. He entered the match in the 66th minute with his team down 1-0. He had one shot attempt — blocked — and created one chance for his teammates to shoot. Mainz scored a late equalizer in the eighth minute of stoppage time to draw 1-1 on the road.
Mainz will host the newly crowned champions, Bayern, on Saturday.
England – Premier League

João Palhinha – Tottenham
Tottenham hosted Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, hoping to get out of the drop zone. Palhinha came off the bench in the 67th minute with the match level 1-1. Moments after coming on, he had one of the best chances of the day when he put his only shot attempt on goal but a little too close to the keeper. Spurs took a lead about ten minutes later but allowed a late equalizer in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Spurs are on the road to last place Wolves on Saturday.
Jonah Kusi-Asare – Fulham
Fulham U23’s season is over in the Premier League 2. Kusi-Asare was not in the matchday squad for Fulham’s first team match — a scoreless draw away to Brentford.
Fulham host Aston Villa on Saturday.
England – Championship
Daniel Peretz is the only player on loan to England’s Championship.
Daniel Peretz – Southampton
Pertez and Southampton continue to roll as they look for promotion to the Premier League. They hosted Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday and he started in goal. He needed three saves to earn a shutout at home. His teammates scored three goals and won 3-0.
Peretz started again in goal in Wales against Swansea on Saturday. He allowed a goal in the 20th minute but then kept the hosts off the board for the rest of the night. He made two saves in the last 70 minutes and saw has his team score two second half goals — including a 90th minute winner — to take a 2-1 win on the road. With the two wins, Southampton are in fourth place but just one point out of automatic promotion.
Southampton will host Bristol City on Tuesday in league play and then travel to Manchester to face City in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Italy – Serie A
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Serie A.
Bryan Zaragoza – AS Roma
Zaragoza was on the bench for Roma’s 1-1 home draw against Atalanta but did not make it onto the pitch.
AS Roma will be away to Bologna on Saturday.
Türkiye – Super Lig
Sacha Boey is the only player on loan to the Turkish Super Lig.
Sacha Boey – Galatasaray
Boey started on the bench for Galatasaray away to Gençlerbirliği. He entered the match in the 65th minute with his team up 2-0 on the road but the hosts scored less than a minute after he came on. He did not have a shot attempt nor could he create anything for his teammates to shoot, but he helped his team keep the hosts from scoring anymore. He had one tackle, one blocked shot, one clearance, and three recoveries. Galatasaray were able to hold off Gençlerbirliği and win 2-1.
Galatasaray will turn around and host Gençlerbirliği in the Turkish Cup quarterfinal on Wednesday. They will also host second place Fenerbahçe in a league match. Galatasaray currently hold a four point lead over Fenerbahçe.
Switzerland – Super League
Lovro Zvonarek is the only player on loan from the first team to the Swiss Super League.
Lovro Zvonarek – Grasshopper
Zvonarek started and played the full 90 minutes in the Swiss Cup semi-final away to second division FC Stade. Full individual stats are not available, but Grasshopper fell 2-0 to the lower division side.
Grasshopper will host Luzern in league play on Saturday.

Maurice Krattenmacher – Hertha BSC
Krattenmacher started on the bench for Hertha’s match on the road to Braunschweig. He entered the match in the 68th minute with his team up 1-0. Five minutes later, his teammate received a red card, and the guests were forced to play ten plus minutes with ten men. Just minutes after the red, Braunschweig found the equalizer. Ana Guzmán – SE Palmeiras
Guzmán started for Colombia against Chile in CONMEBOL Nations League on Tuesday. She played the full 90 minutes at left back and helped her team shut out Chile. Colombia scored two goals to win 2-0 and move to second place, level with Argentina on points.
On Saturday, Colombia played another Nations League in Argentina. Guzmán started on the bench and came into the match in the 85th minute with the match still scoreless. She helped her national team keep another shutout but could not help his team find a goal. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Guzmán will return to Palmeiras for a match away to Fluminense on Tuesday.
