Barcelona won their second straight game to begin the La Liga season on Saturday with a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Levante, and Hansi Flick’s men made some history with that victory.
According to Opta, Saturday’s comeback was Barça’s first-ever victory in La Liga when trailing 2-0 at halftime this entire century.

more impressive stat? Also according to Opta, Barça have now won their last four games in which they trailed by two goals at any point in the match (4-2 against Atlético Madrid, 4-3 against Celta Vigo, 4-3 against Real Madrid, 3-2 against Levante), proving beyond any doubt that Flick’s team has a special type of mentality and never say die attitude that allows them to come back in games that seem impossible to win.
Flick stressed after the match that he wants his team to grow from these experiences so they’ll no longer need crazy comebacks all the time, but it’s impossible to deny they are pretty fun to watch.
