The Hawks and the rest of the NBA found out their entire regular season schedule today (save for the weeks surrounding the NBA Cup knockout bracket in early December).
Atlanta will open the season in Orlando to take on the Magic on Wednesday, October 21, head to Charlotte that Friday, then open their home schedule the following night against the Houston Rockets.
Other notes: the typical tipoff time for weekday home games will be 7 PM local time — a change from the 7:30 PM times it had been for a number
of seasons. Good luck fighting Atlanta traffic for those, but that will be the tradeoff for earlier end times.
The Hawks will also have 10 national TV games between ESPN, Prime and NBC/Peacock. The rest will broadcast on local stations WANF (Atlanta News First) and Peachtree Sports Network (PSN) which can be found for free over the air. Radio broadcasts will continue on Sports Radio 92-9 The Game.
