They showed fight at the end, sure.
They also lost.
They had a great performance from Jesus Luzardo.
They also lost.
Trea Turner had an RBI single, Nick Castellanos a big RBI double, seemingly snapping some funks they were in.
They also lost.
They’re going to Los Angeles down two games to none. They’re going to the home of the best team in baseball with little wind at their backs and a manager that plays for ties instead of wins. The words “we wanted to play for a tie” actually came out of the manager’s
mouth. They’re actively choosing to pitch Aaron Nola over Ranger Suarez in an elimination game.
Which brings us to our question of the day: now what? What can we expect from Game 3? The team needed a pitcher that has been absolutely terrible the past few weeks and a strange managerial decision to not pitch Roki Sasaki to even get back into the game. What makes us think that they can score runs at Dodger Stadium?
Where do they go from here?
