No. 1 Maryland field hockey had quite the day Tuesday. The Terps reached the top of the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll in the morning before all–Big Ten honors were later released.
Headlining the list of award winners is Alyssa Klebasko, who won Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year. The senior registered a 0.87 goals-against average and won 15 games, both career-bests. She is the first Terp to win the award since its inception in 2023.
Ella Beach also took home an individual award, earning the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Beach finished the regular season fourth on the team – and tops amongst freshmen – with 15 points.
To round it out, 10 players were named to an all-conference team and Ella Fehr received the Sportsmanship Award.
