Multiple reports indicate the Sixers will hire Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Mike Gansey as the next president of basketball operations. I’m cautiously optimistic about the hire. The word is he was a big part of the Cavs’ drafting and development of players, something the franchise did very well. It also sounds like his interpersonal skills were a big reason he got hired — something we all know was a criticism of Daryl Morey.
We’re also in June which means it’s draft month!
