There have been some recent reports that Myles Garrett may have not been “loved” among the Cleveland Browns organization and the way he was likely loved by the fans. Look, I get you want your star players to be loved in the locker room as that’s just good chemistry, but who cares? What’s love got to do with winning and losing?
You know what has to do with winning and losing? Winning and losing.
Garrett may have not been loved by the other Cleveland players for a number of reasons, that doesn’t mean
he’s not a great acquisition for the Los Angeles Rams.
It’s all just interesting, and I cannot wait to see what this team can do on the field.
It’s Monday, comment on whatever you want and thank you for checking out Turf Show Times!
Browns insider: Myles Garrett wasn’t ‘necessarily loved by his teammates’ (ramswire)
“Verse was a beloved member of the locker room and as the voice of their defense, he was always making his teammates feel special, helping form those bonds beyond the field. Cleveland Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot recently spoke about Verse and stated that she expects Verse to be the same way with his new team.
Cabot also spoke about Garrett, sharing an interesting point about Garrett’s final season in Cleveland. Cabot states that Garrett wasn’t a beloved teammate, with some in the locker room allegedly taking issue with Garrett’s demands for a trade during the 2025 offseason.“
Rams don’t need Myles Garrett to be what Browns reporter says he wasn’t (ramblinfan)
““While Garrett was respected and revered by his teammates, he wasn’t necessarily universally loved,” said Mary Kary Cabot of Cleveland.com. “And while he evolved as a leader over the years, he wasn’t the great unifier the Browns always hoped he’d be, often keeping to his tight inner circle away from team headquarters.”
Verse, says Cabot, already looks like the galvanizing force the rebuilding Browns have long craved. Part of that is his energetic, outgoing nature. Good for Cleveland. They clearly need a leader.“
Rams’ Myles Garrett Links Up With USC Trojans for Workout (ca.sports.yahoo)
“The Trojans also get the huge benefit of working out with one of the best defenders and pass rushers in the league. They can pick Garrett’s brain and likely did just that.
Garrett joining the Rams was something that nobody foresaw coming, as the blockbuster trade went down at the beginning of June. The trade saw the Los Angeles front office send Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.“
