The Knicks open the NBA Finals tonight against the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Center. It’s a 1999 Finals rematch, and New York is chasing its first title since 1973. Mitchell Robinson is available, so each team will have its full complement of players. The Spurs are favored, largely because they have home court and an intergalactic being who happens to excel at basketball. I’m told that San Antonio has never lost Game One of an NBA Finals. Let’s do something about that, Knickerbockers!
