Week 13 saw many SEC teams crush smaller schools in what has become an annual tradition. Out west, Utah survived a scare from Kansas State and Oregon eliminated USC from CFP contention. In the ACC, Pitt upset Georgia Tech in Atlanta, SMU beat Louisville convincingly in Dallas, and Miami handled rival Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

There wasn’t much movement in the poll
this week. The biggest riser was Michigan, moving up three spots. The Miami Hurricanes climbed one spot, jumping Utah. Georgia Tech fell the furthest, going down eight spots. Week 14 has five top 25 matchups: #4 Georgia vs #23 Georgia Tech, #3 Texas A&M at #16 Texas, #13 Miami at #24 Pitt, #1 Ohio State at #15 Michigan, and #12 Vanderbilt at #20 Tennessee.
