The Phenomenal Son finally has his first match in TNA booked, and it comes on their biggest show of the year. Avery Styles makes his in-ring debut at Bound For Glory.

The announcement unfolded on Impact (Sep. 24, 2026) with the assistance of Frankie Kazarian. Styles has taken a backseat on screen since his signing, and Kaz volunteered himself to mentor Avery out of respect to AJ Styles. The King informed Styles of the opportunity to wrestle in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Kaz will be in the match

as well.

The Call Your Shot Gauntlet match is similar to the Royal Rumble. The winner receives a briefcase to call their shot at any TNA championship, much like Money in the Bank. In theory, Styles could become world champion in his rookie year if all his cards lined up perfectly. Imagine that!

Bound For Glory takes place on October 11 from Tampa, FL. The updated card includes:

TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Leon Slater
Knockouts Championship: Xia Brookside (c) vs. Indi Hartwell
X-Division Championship: KC Navarro vs. Fabian Aichner vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Rich Swann vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. (winner between BDE and Mr. Elegance) for vacant title
Call Your Shot Gauntlet: Avery Styles, Frankie Kazarian, & more
Eddie Edwards vs. Ricky Sosa

The main event is official with a new caveat. Nic Nemeth and Leon Slater engaged in a brawl on Impact. Santino Marella had enough, so he used his director of authority power to issue a no-contact rule. If Nemeth touches Slater before BFG, then the champ will be stripped. Likewise for Slater, his title shot will be cancelled.

Indi Hartwell will receive a Knockouts Championship shot after bamboozling Daria Rae. Indi tricked Daria into slapping her out of anger. Santino filmed the incident to send to the TNA board of directors. Daria was suspended, and Santino booked the title bout for Indi against Xia Brookside at BFG.
