, once again falling back to .500. They will look to avoid the sweep at 1:10pm PDT today. In Mariners news:

- Felnin Celesten continued laying waste to the Northwest League, bashing his eighth homer of the season in the AquaSox’s walk-off win. Keep an eye on him getting his first look in Double-A in the next few weeks!
- If you miss Jhonny Pereda after he was optioned upon Cal Raleigh’s return, don’t fret! He made quite the positive impression with the org in his time up, and general manager Justin Hollander emphatically said that he’ll be back at some point this season.

- The Phillies ground the Mets into a fine paste last night, winning 15-3. Kyle Schwarber had two homers in the third inning, but was somehow overshadowed by Bryce Harper, who completed a cycle by the halfway point of the game.

- The Bronx will see a big league debut today, as the Yankees promoted their second-ranked prospect RHP Elmer Rodríguez to get the start against Cincinnati. Gerrit Cole will get the start on the road with Detroit tomorrow.
