Following the news of Walt Weiss’ promotion to manager, the Atlanta Braves have continued to announce changes to the coaching staff. Up next, the club hired Tony Mansolino as third base coach and J.P.
Martinez as bullpen coach.
Mansolino, 43, previously served as the third base coach of the Baltimore Orioles for five seasons, until he took over as interim manager in May.
Martinez has spent the last five seasons with the San Francisco Giants, where he recently took on the role of pitching coach.
With these additions, the Braves continue shaping a well-rounded coaching staff to support Walt Weiss as he begins his tenure as manager.
