Jordan Love put on a show on Sunday night as the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-25 in a highly anticipated matchup that saw Aaron Rodgers facing his former team for the first time since
the Packers traded him in 2023.
Love was 29 of 37 (78.4%), including putting up 20 consecutive completed passes, something not done by a Packers QB since Brett Favre in 2007. He also threw for 3 TDs (2 to Tucker Kraft alone!) and had a total passer rating of 134.2. Overall it was one of the best games of Jordan Love’s career.
Unsurprisingly, Love has been nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week, where fans can vote for him to win the title for Week 8. The other nominees for this week are Patriots QB Drake Maye, Eagles RB Saquan Barkley, Bills RB James Cook, and Jets RB Breece Hall.
