According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg
, RB Leipzig and Real Madrid are on the verge of a massive deal for attacker Yan Diomandé that could be worth as much as €140 million:🚨⚪️ BREAKTHROUGH! Real Madrid and RB Leipzig are now on the verge of completing the transfer of Yan Diomande.
EXCL Details | The guaranteed transfer fee is €125 million. With realistic add-ons included, the package is expected to reach €135 million, while the overall deal could rise to €140 million if
all difficult-to-achieve bonuses are met.
Leganés will receive around 5% of the transfer profit as part of the agreement.
Only the final formalities remain before the deal is signed off.

🚨⤵️ Final details between RB Leipzig and Real Madrid are currently being finalised. There is still no green light for the medical. Yan Diomande and his agent are waiting for it and are ready to fly to Madrid. Done deal soon.

Finally, Hinze also reported that any rumors about a holdout were offbase:

Did Bayern Munich’s refusal to even talk about Michael Olise push Real Madrid into desperation mode? €140 million for a 20-year-old coming off of one good season, sure makes it seems like it.
Diomandé is an exciting talent, but this feels like it might be too much at this stage. Who knows, though? Maybe it will end up looking like a steal at this time next year.
