Last Friday at Worlds Collide in Las Vegas, “All Ego” Ethan Page came up short in his pursuit of the AAA Latin American Championship. In a Fatal 4-Way match, it was JD McDonagh — not Page — who took the fall, but the result still cost Page the title.
Frustrated, Page stormed out of Vegas, shouting that he just wanted to go home to Hamilton, Ontario.
Can you blame him? Hamilton — the “City of Waterfalls” — is home to over a hundred natural cascades, including Albion Falls, Devil’s Punchbowl, Smokey
Hollow, Sherman Falls, and the majestic Webster’s Falls.
Perhaps if the self-professed “Greatest North American” is successful in his future goals, Hamilton might rename one of those landmarks in his honor: AAA Falls.
On Monday, Page put the stars of WWE’s sister promotion in Mexico on notice.
“Wasn’t really in my plans … but it looks like I’ll be adding ‘take over AAA’ on my to-do list. It’s genuinely exhausting being me.”
Before Page gets that chance, he’ll have to get past a returning NXT alum first. Tomorrow night, “All Ego” defends the North American Championship against Tyler Breeze at NXT Homecoming. The show emanates from Full Sail University, the former longtime home of NXT’s Black & Gold era.
NXT airs in its usual time slot on The CW Network at 8 p.m. ET.
