Purdue’s Big Ten hopes are on the line this week as it heads to Nebraska and Iowa. The Boilermakers need at least a split of those two games if it wants to stay alive in the conference title race, and a win
at top 10 Nebraska would be a huge boost towards that goal.
On Monday Matt Painter, Fletcher Loyer, and Trey Kaufman-Renn spoke with the gathered media about the coming road trip and where the team is headed into the home stretch of the season.
Purdue is 3-3 in its last six trips to Pinnacle Bank Arena including an 88-72 loss in its last visit to Lincoln (Jan. 2024), when ranked No. 1 in the country. A victory would be its second top 10 win of the season, as Alabama was ranked in the top 10 when Purdue won there in November.
