The Guardians, again, set the difficulty level on hard last night, falling behind 2-0, before coming back to destroy the Sacramento Athletics 12-6.
It’s a big game to find a way to win today and to hope that the Tigers beat the White Sox, the Blue Jays beat the Rangers, and the Braves beat the Astros. That would make for a perfect Sunday.
Brayan Rocchio left the game with “leg tightness” last night. Stephen Vogt said they’d know more this morning, but I’d bet Angel Genao will start today.
There is some
threat of rain today, so, hopefully, they can get the game in before the Guardians go to Boston and Kansas City to end the season.
AROUND MLB:
The White Sox and Rangers won, the Blue Jays and Astros lost. The Astros are now 2 games behind the Guardians who lead the White Sox by one game for the Central. I’d be feeling pretty good if the Guardians held even one tiebreaker but they lost the season series to every one of these teams. So, we will be sweating it out!
