Curt Cignetti, the Indiana football head coach who led a bad-bad-not-good program to its first undefeated College Football Playoff championship season, thinks Texas was an underrated program this season.
We can gleam as much from the fact that Cignetti ranked Texas at No. 8 overall in his final Coaches Poll ballot.
That’s decent enough praise.
If only the committee had felt the same way.
