Last we heard Brie Garcia — who WWE fans know as Brie Bella of The Bella Twins — didn’t think she’d be able to follow her sister Nikki back to WWE. The reason was apparently Brie’s marriage to AEW’s Bryan Danielson.
If that was that the case, those issues have been worked out. Brie was one of few actual surprises in the Women’s Royal Rumble match that opened the Royal Rumble premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today (Jan. 31). BRIE MODE hit when it was time for the 29th entrant:
Brie would eliminate Lyra Valkyria while her sister eliminated Bayley.
With that future tag feud set-up, the Bellas elimination set-up another, as Lash Legend sent them over the top.
The Bellas weren’t together in WWE when the Women’s Tag titles were introduced, and they’ve talked about wanting to make sure a run with those belts is on their resume when all is said and done. Let us know in the comments below if you think that’s in the cards now.
