The Pittsburgh Steelers came to terms with Aaron Rodgers on a one-year, $22 million deal earlier this week. Leading up to the agreement, NFL fans were unsure whether Rodgers would return or retire. However, he has made it known that this will be the last year of his storied career.
“This is it,” Rodgers told the media on Wednesday.
After coming to Pittsburgh to play for Mike Tomlin a season ago, Rodgers will end his career in a full-circle manner, now getting to play for former head coach Mike McCarthy
one last time. Together in Green Bay, McCarthy helped Rodgers develop into the player he is today, leading the Packers to a Super Bowl title along the way.
