Bayern to compete with Gunners, City, United for Bouaddi (RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins via @iMiSanMia)
If Bayern Munich makes a serious pursuit of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, it will have to outduel Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United:
Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi (18) is being monitored by Bayern, Arsenal and both Manchester clubs. Lille would prefer a sale with a one-year loan so that he can continue his development at the club. Lille president Olivier Létang is demanding €80-100m.
Bouaddi appears to have made quite the impression during this season and also during the season.
At Bayern Munich, it would seemingly take a lot of money and cunning to get Bouaddi. Right now, it just seems like that might be difficult for Bayern Munich to pull off barring some major sales from the current roster.
Beşiktaş salary offer falling way short for Nübel (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Beşiktaş wants Alexander Nübel, but is falling about €7 million short of his current salary:
To convince him to move to Turkey, the Istanbul club is offering a net salary of around five million euros, including potential bonuses. Bayern Munich have since received an offer of approximately five million euros in fixed transfer fees plus another five million euros in potential bonuses. However, the Munich club rejected the offer, as they are currently demanding up to 20 million euros for Nübel’s transfer.
This is clearly too much for Besiktas and other clubs in contact with the player’s representatives. What makes this particularly sensitive is that many interested clubs have information that Bayern Munich want to sell Nübel as soon as possible.

There is no doubt that Bayern Munich wants to offload Nübel, but expecting that much for him seems like a big ask. In fact, a very big ask. Nübel is coming off of a great season at VfB Stuttgart, but this is very steep price for a player whose track record is not necessarily one of consistent, top-level play.
Chalobah to Como? (Kicker)
At one point, Trevoh Chalobah was on Bayern Munich’s radar, but now appears to be headed to Como:
Serie A surprise club Como 1907, who recently qualified for the Champions League for the first time, are looking to lure Trevoh Chalobah away from Chelsea. According to Sky Sport Italia, the Lombardy-based club, managed by Cesc Fabregas, are offering €25 million for the defender, who is under contract with the Blues until 2028 with an option to extend and is also part of England’s World Cup squad in North America after being called up as a late addition. Chelsea, however, are reportedly demanding a transfer fee of €35 million.
ICYMI: Xhaka, Alonso to reunite at Chelsea (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
Xabi Alonso and Granit Xhaka are set to get back together at Chelsea FC:
PSG, Barcola hit roadblocks in talks (ESPN)
Paris Saint-Germain and Bradley Barcola seem to have hit a standstill in their contract talks:
Paris Saint-Germain have stalled in contract talks with winger Bradley Barcola, says Fabrizio Romano. The 23-year-old is set to enter the final two years of his contract next month and, with no progress made, Liverpool and Arsenal are at the front of the queue for his signature. The report adds that Manchester United are dreaming of signing Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, with the 26-year-old France international seen as an ideal replacement for Inter Miami-bound Casemiro.
With some powerhouse club interested in Barcola, this could get interesting. PSG has been closely linked to Yan Diomande. If that move happens, Barcola could be eager to explore his future elsewhere.
Whoops, wrong bus! (Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger via @iMiaSanMia)
It happens to the best of us, right?
Weghorst to Twente (Kicker)
Former Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst has landed at FC Twente:
Wout Weghorst’s contract with Ajax Amsterdam has expired, but he’s staying in the Eredivisie. The former Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim player has signed a contract with FC Twente until 2028. The 33-year-old striker is currently playing for the Netherlands at the World Cup. Technical director Erik ten Hag is “convinced that he will play a key role in FC Twente’s future success.”
