Today is the day I have dreamt about in terms of USA Soccer, a group stage match where I can relax. Yes, it’s very important to set out to win every time you play any game, but as a fan it’s nice to know this one “doesn’t mean anything.” Will I be unhappy if the U.S loses to Türkiye? Oh hell yeah. That doesn’t change the fact the U.S has won its group and will play a 3rd place team (which will be Bosnia-Herzegovina).
On the other home front, I’m now wondering where the time went. Just 8 short months
ago, I was really disappointed about Nebraska football losing to Minnesota but finishing the weekend off with the twins being born. Now hooligans two and three are slowly starting to show off their skills. They are almost mobile, and God help me. I’m not in shape, but chasing around all 3 kids will fix that in a darn hurry.
