Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has reached another milestone in his rapidly developing NFL career.
Nacua was named No. 7 on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2026, giving the Rams three players inside the top 10. The ranking, which is voted on by NFL players, represents a massive jump for Nacua after he entered last year’s list at No. 41. His 34-spot rise is the largest jump among the players ranked Nos. 10 through 7.
The ranking is a reflection of just how dominant Nacua was during the 2025 season.
Nacua appeared in 16 games and finished with 129 receptions for 1,715 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged 13.3 yards per reception and established himself as one of the most productive offensive players in the league.
Perhaps the most impressive number was his 129 receptions, which led the NFL and tied for the seventh-most receptions in a single season in league history. Nacua also led the league with 107.2 receiving yards per game while finishing second in total receiving yards and tied for sixth in receiving touchdowns. He also recorded a league-best 80 receptions that resulted in first downs and four games with at least 150 receiving yards.
Those numbers helped establish Nacua as much more than a promising young receiver. He became the centerpiece of Sean McVay’s passing attack and one of the most difficult players in the NFL to defend.
Nacua’s efficiency was just as impressive as his production. According to NFL Next Gen Stats, he averaged 3.8 yards per route run in 2025, the second-highest mark of the Next Gen Stats era among players with at least 100 routes.
The three players before Nacua were Micah Parson, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Patrick Surtain II. Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons came in at No. 8 despite being injured at the end of the 2025 season. Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was No. 9. Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II cracked the top 10.
For the Rams, however, Nacua’s ranking is another indication of the star power on their roster. With Nacua at No. 7, Matthew Stafford and Myles Garrett are still waiting to be revealed, meaning Los Angeles could ultimately have three players inside the NFL’s top seven.
The final six players will be revealed one per weekday beginning Monday, Aug. 31, with No. 1 scheduled to be unveiled Friday, Sept. 4.
After a historic 2025 season, Nacua has officially established himself among the NFL’s elite. The only question remaining for Rams fans is how high his teammates will land—and whether Los Angeles will ultimately have the player voted No. 1 in the league.
