King Green just totaled his Range Rover.
The UFC lightweight veteran was behind the wheel during a live stream and appeared to sail through a red light before colliding with another car on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles. Fortunately, it looks as though nobody was hurt during the collision but there was significant damage to both vehicles.
“We just got in a car accident, hopefully the people are
okay,” Green said after the wreck. “That car is my baby too, it’s totaled. Why would she do that? I could see if I wasn’t paying attention or something like that, we were just driving all the way through. You can see her turn in front of us. At least we got the camera.”
Green (36-18-1, 1 NC) is coming off a technical knockout loss to Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332 earlier this month in Salt Lake City, a defeat that snapped a four-fight win streak for the 40-year-old MMA veteran. No word yet on when Green plans to make his Octagon return, but first quarter 2027 seems likely.
“Shit happens,” Green added.
