Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Mizzou Football kick-off times and more.
Mizzou’s Homecoming game-time on September 27th has been announced. The Tigers’ final non-conference game against UMass is under the lights in COMO which will be Missouri’s third night game of the season so far. Kick-off has been set for 6:30 p.m. CST and the game will be televised on ESPNU.
Would you rather have the Homecoming game at 11:00 a.m., 2:30, or in the evening?
You can discuss it over on RockM+.
Here’s the rest of the SEC schedule:
Elsewhere, Mizzou got a ton of love from their 52-10 win over Louisiana by PFF College. Ahmad Hardy was named Offensive Player of the Week:
Hardy was electric in Missouri’s win, erupting for 249 rushing yards. While his 11.9 yards per carry jump off the page, his 7.9 yards after contact per attempt is even more eye-popping. He forced 12 missed tackles in the game, bringing his season total to 27 through just three weeks.
And Missouri was named the Offensive Line of the Week:
Missouri’s offensive line didn’t allow a single pressure this week, with the lone pressure they allowed coming from a tight end. They were also dominant on the ground, rushing for 439 yards.

After debuting in the AP Poll for 2025 last week at, well, 25th, Mizzou saw a steady creep up after putting Louisiana to the sword on Saturday. The Tigers are ranked 23rd going into Week 4 just ahead of… huh. Am I reading this right? 0-2 Notre Dame is still ranked?
Mizzou moves up two spots to No. 23 after their win over Louisiana, but why is Notre Dame still ranked at 0-2?
Ahmad Hardy is looking like one of the best, if not the best running back in College Football right now in the early stages of the season.
Check the stats. Hardy currently leads the SEC with 462 rushing yards.
While Mizzou didn’t walk away with the win, they remained extremely competitive with a team that is poised to step into the top 10 next week. The Tigers pushed their opponents to extra points in set one, plus scoring 20 points in each set.
As a whole, the depth combined with the talent poised on this team should not leave fans worried heading towards SEC despite the early season losses.
Mizzou Volleyball might be off to a 5-3 start, but with competitive losses to Top 10 Stanford and TCU teams — the Tigers should be fine entering SEC play, as they still come in ranked No. 22 in the lates AVCA rankings.
