Game Summary:
The first half was ugly. Terrance Arceneaux was announced as out for the game. At 15:38 Tre Holloman was ejected for doing very little. And it seemed like a competition to see who could get
the most fouls. Everyone that played had at least one, Deng and Copeland finished the half with 3 each. The team collected 15. UNCG took 28 free throws.
The teams traded the lead until 8:03 when the score was tied at 26, Darrion Williams got a steal and fed Paul McNeil for a 3PT. UNCG went cold and only managed 11 points the rest of the half, 8 at the free throw line. The Wolfpack scored 21 to take a 10-point lead at the half. Alyn Breed got his first significant minutes of the season, playing 13 minutes. Paul McNeil led the scoring with 14 (3-7 from 3PT). Darrion Williams had 10 points, 8 rebounds, an assist and 2 steals. Halftime score 47-37.
The second half was what we all expected from the tipoff, a dominant performance. The Wolfpack pushed the lead to 14 at the 15:00 mark, to 21 at the 10:00 mark, and 31 with 7:13 left. Everybody got in the game, including Jordan Snell.
Final score 110-64.
