TNA teased surprises for the television debut of Impact on AMC on January 15, and they delivered the goods on the first reveal. AJ Styles returns to TNA.
TNA announced that the Phenomenal One will appear on Impact for the AMC debut. Styles had been absent from TNA for over ten years before coming back as a special guest at Slammiversary 2025. Styles cut a promo about his love for the company and put over Leon Slater, who had just won the X-Division Championship.
This is a great splash for TNA to have Styles on the AMC premiere. The Phenomenal One will attract fans new, old, and curious to check out Impact.
TNA Impact debuts live on AMC on Thursday, January 15 at 9 pm ET. The advertised card so far includes:
- TNA World Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Mike Santana
- X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Myron Reed
- Knockouts Tag Team Championship: The IInspiration (c) vs. Elegance Brand
- Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, & Elijah vs. Mustafa Ali & Great Hands
- AJ Styles returns!
