Hopefully Lakers fans enjoyed Friday’s showing from Luka Dončić as they won’t be seeing it again for a while.
After his 49-point game against the Wolves, Luka has been ruled out for at least a week with
both a left finger sprain and lower left leg contusion.
Luka injured his finger during the game against Minnesota and had it taped relatively early in the contest. It clearly didn’t slow him on the night as he scored at will throughout. However, it will play a part in him being sidelined for the next week.
As for the lower left leg contusion, that injury is unclear as to when it happened. There was concern about Luka and a potential groin or hip injury after the opener, but that was on the right side, not the left.
This live story will be updated as more information becomes available.
