The White Sox have some momentum after a two-game sweep of the Houston Astros in the Wild Card Round, and will bring their heat east to Cleveland in beginning the best-of-five ALDS against the Guardians.
Once again, the White Sox are not a prime-time draw, most immediately ceding viewership eyes to the other ALDS series betwen the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays. In fact, the White Sox (true darlings of the nation, between Pope Leo and Munetaka Murakami and grinders like Sam Antonacci and Chase
Meidroth) will play Game 1 of the ALDS (all the LDS series start on Saturday) at NOON Central time. Jeez.
Also, like the Wild Card Series, this ALDS will change times depending on whether Rays-Yankees wraps up earlier; our Games 4 and/or 5 could end up in prime time.
So, here is the broadcast information for the five ALDS games ahead for the White Sox and Guardians:
Game 1 (Saturday, October 3) White Sox at Guardians, noon CT (TBS/truTV/UniMas/HBO Max)
Game 2 (Monday, October 5) White Sox at Guardians, 4 p.m. CT (TBS/truTV/UniMas/HBO Max)
Game 3 (Wednesday, October 7) Guardians at White Sox, 3 p.m. CT (TBS/truTV/UniMas/HBO Max)
Game 4 (Thursday, October 8) Guardians at White Sox, 4 p.m. CT (TBS/truTV/UniMas/HBO Max)*
Game 5 (Saturday, October 10) White Sox at Guardians, 4 p.m. CT (TBS/truTV/UniMas/HBO Max)*
*If the Rays-Yankees series is over, the White Sox-Guardians move later, to 7 p.m. CT
All games will be available on radio, at ESPN’s WMVP-AM 1000.
Not to deny any of you a home game experience in Game 4, but hey, let’s sweep these jokers in three games!
